Bonnie Sue Wetrich, 72, of Earlham died Monday, January 28, 2019 at her home. A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, February 4 at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Earlham Cemetery and a luncheon will follow at the Earlham Community Center. Memorials may be directed to the Earlham Fire and Rescue and online condolences may be left for the family at ochiltree.com. Bonnie Sue Ludwick was born March 23, 1946 in Earlham, Iowa; the daughter of Glen and Helen (Wilson) Ludwick. She attended school in Earlham. She married Jim Wetrich and to this union five children was born. Bonnie worked in retail for many years and retired from Lowes. She had a green thumb and always enjoyed time gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved her cats. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR, her favorite being Jimmy Johnson. Bonnie loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bonnie is survived by her five children, Mike (Kathy) Wetrich of Urbandale, Steve (Rita) Wetrich of Hartley, Ron (Christy) Wetrich of Waukee, Dan Wetrich of Urbandale and Sue (Chris) Brindley of Earlham; 21 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and a host of friends She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Ludwick and a half-brother, Jim Ludwick.
