Caelen Peterson

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, Caelen Peterson, loving son, grandson, brother, nephew and friend, passed away at the age of 14. Caelen was born in on May 2, 2008 to Dale and Lindsey Peterson.

Caelen had a passion for the outdoors and his animals. He was also an avid music lover and a fan of traveling. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Caelen has often been described as "a best friend", "an only friend", and "a first friend" by many who knew him. Caelen had an old soul and the biggest heart anyone could meet. Caelen was fiercely loyal to anyone he called "friend" and could piece the most shattered of hearts back together with a hug and smart mouthed joke.

Caelen is preceded in death by his aunt Carleen Sass, great uncle David Wright, and grandfather David Lanier. He is survived by loving parents, Dale and Lindsey Peterson, brothers Rowan and Rylan, grandparents Cathy and Oren Peterson, grandmother Laurie Reynolds, aunt Joelle Peterson, aunt Kelley Lanier, numerous cousins and family friends.

A celebration of Caelen's life will be held February 15, 2023 at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home with a time of comfort and support from 3-7 PM.
