Howard Lee Stanley

Howard Lee Stanley, 66, passed away Monday, September 21, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. A memorial mass will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 25 at All Saints Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 24, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory. Howard was born July 7, 1949, to Homer and Mary (Lee) Stanley in Des Moines. He was united in marriage on June 2, 1973, to Theresa Ann Fiori at All Saints Catholic Church. Howard was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and St. Vincent DePaul Society. He loved fishing, cars (especially his 2008 Shelby Mustang), his dogs, Yogi and Avery, and his cat, Clancey. Howard was a devoted family man. Howard is survived by his wife, Terri; sons, Jeffrey (Robyn), Brandon (Rachael) and Tyler (Tarea Hale and her son, Kingston); grandchildren, Anthony, Cameron, Jackson, Champ, Olivia, Colin and Sawyer; mother, Mary Stanley; sister, Sandra Dabb, and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family for a memorial to be decided at a later date.
