Janelle Huebert

Janelle Marie Huebert passed away at home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the age of 53. There will be a celebration of life on Monday, September 14 at Walnut Woods State Park from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Lodge. A light meal will be served. Due to Covid-19, please wear a face mask and remember social distancing. Janelle was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa on November 23, 1966 to Donald and Janet (VanHoff) Anderson. She was raised in Gowrie and Cedar Rapids until the family moved to Des Moines where she attended Southeast Polk Schools. She enjoyed working on various crafts, cooking, going curbing and collecting various items. She had a big heart and enjoyed seeing those around her happy. It was not unusual for her to have a special gift or card ready to give you. She looked for the best in people. Janelle did not know a stranger and always wanted to help anyone in need. Her greatest pride and joy were found in her two children whom she loved deeply. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Jeffrey Huebert of Punta Corda, Fl. and David Allen of Des Moines, Ia. Parents Donald Anderson of Apache Junction, Az. and Janet Anderson of Urbandale, Ia. Brothers, Steve (Lori) Anderson of Johnston, Ia. and Brian Anderson of Des Moines, Ia. Nephews, Matthew Anderson of Des Moines, Ia. and Jonathon Anderson of Ankeny, Ia. Children’s fathers John Allen and Kelly Huebert. Special friend, Dennis McGordon, as well as many extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with funeral expenses.
