Joelle Gustafson

Joelle Gustafson, 56, of Dexter, Iowa passed away Monday, December 12, 2022. A private family memorial service will be held the at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - McCalley Chapel in Adel. A celebration of her life open to all her friends and family will be held at a later date.

Joelle was born February 8, 1966, in Des Moines. She graduated from Dexfield High School in 1986. she married and had three children, she was a proud mother in supporting her family.

When it comes down to the darkest times and the best of times in life, Joelle was always there for everyone no matter the circumstances. Even through every single health battle, she would always be a great listener, one to give the best of advice, and would always be willing to help others.

She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, and children, along with the rest of the family. She loved her pet pug, Angel, who she is now reunited with after losing her a month prior, along with her grandmother Ruthie, her husband Jeff, and many other family and friends she lost and dearly missed. Joelle was strong, stubborn,  humorous, free spirited, a warrior, and especially a good friend to many. She struggled through a long battle with her health that many couldn't imagine going through.

She is survived by her parents; Charlene and Ty Wilson, Vicki and Duffy Gustafson;  her children Chase, Dakota, and Tiara, her brother Chuck Gustafson, and her grand babies Clover and Serenity; sisters Heather,  Lisa, and Jenney. She can rest now and no longer has to fight anymore

Joelle is preceded in death by her husband Jeff.
