John Eichmann

John Jacob Eichmann, 89 years old, passed away on April 28, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held at Glendale Cemetery. John was born on November 2, 1930 to Fred and Marie Eichmann. He was raised on a farm near Mason City, Iowa. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was always proud of his country and his service. John married his wife Juanita in 1953 and the couple raised two sons. John worked most of his adult life in the printing business. During his free time he always loved working in his yard and planting flowers and hostas. Both John and Juanita were a big part of their granddaughter Erica’s life. She loved going over to their house and couldn’t wait to show everyone her very own candy drawer. John was kind and loving; a great husband, great dad, great grandfather and great great-grandfather. He will be missed tremendously by everyone he left behind. John is survived by his sons, David (Jackie) and Kevin (Karen) Eichmann; his grandchildren, Erican (Chris) Menke; and great grandchildren, Victoria and Eloise. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita.
