Johnna Mcneley

Johnna Sue McNeley, 56, of Winterset, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home, surrounded by loved ones. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Johnna Sue Lemon was born in Winterset, Iowa on September 24, 1964, the daughter of John and Janet (Parker) Lemon. She graduated from East Union High School in 1983 and received a degree in Computer Science from DMACC. She was united in marriage to Roger McNeley on September 6, 2007. She worked 21 years for Principal Life Insurance. She also worked for Chiropractic 1st, Fons & Porter Quilting, The Cellar, Rodger’s Spirits, and was most recently a wellness coach at Total Wellness. She was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church, the Madison County Chamber and the Madison County Leadership Group. Johnna is survived by her husband, Roger McNeley; sons, John Lemon and Brandon Jones; sister, Tina Molln; two grandchildren, Raelynn Jones and Sage Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Janet (Parker) Lemon. Johnna’s family would like to thank the Madison County Hospital Staff, EveryStep Hospice, Mercy Hospital staff, and friends from the Foursquare Gospel Church for the wonderful care and support during her final days.
