Judy Ann Morris

Judy Morris, 82, formerly of Peru, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Silvercrest at Woodlands Creek in Clive, Iowa.

Judith Ann Morris was born on March 18, 1941, in Winterset, lowa to Robert and Dorothy Ringgenberg. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to helping those in need and was always there for her family and friends.

Judy is survived by her son, retired MSG James Morris, and her grandchildren, Tyler Hoy and Alexis Morris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Morris, her daughter, Jody Morris, and her parents, Robert and Dorothy Ringgenberg.

Judy had a successful career as a customer service representative, account manager, and account supervisor for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and numerous subsidiaries for over 50 years. She was a dedicated and hardworking professional.

Outside of her career, Judy enjoyed being a farmwife and was actively involved in various organizations and activities. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, 4-H, the Red Hat Society, and numerous community groups. Judy's vibrant personality and zest for life made her a beloved member of her community.

A visitation is planned for Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 28th at the Peru Cemetery in Peru.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Judy.
