Justin Gaunt

Justin Gaunt, 47, passed away at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on May 10, 2021. He was born in Washington on August 28, 1973 to Barbara Gaunt. Justin had a love for animals. He studied Animal Science in Yankton, SD. Justin also worked at the Humane Society where he adopted his yorkie Tank and later George. Justin would always say, “I didn’t adopt Tank, he adopted me.” Justin was also an avid reader, loved to travel, enjoyed watching the Seahawks, and enjoyed going hunting and shooting with his family. He was outgoing and made friends with everyone he met. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cassie Gaunt; children, Michael Tenski, Chandler Gaunt, and Chastity Gaunt and father Dennis Buzard. He is preceded in death by his mom Barbara Gaunt. There will be a private family mass at a later date in loving memory of Justin.
