Raymond L. Brock, Sr.

Raymond L. Brock, 88, of Poughkeepsie, New York, born and raised in Winterset, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at The Dutchess Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Pawling, New York. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Winterset Cemetery with military honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8142 and the American Legion Post #184 of Winterset. Ray was born in Winterset, Iowa, on August 20, 1922, son of Raymond O. and Doris (Silliman) Brock. He is survived by two sons, Raymond Brock, Jr., and his wife Janet of East Lansing, Michigan, and Stephen Brock and his wife, Paula, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his four grandchildren Terry and Kimberly, Alexander and Leigh. Raymond’s wife, Frances Nadine (Anderson) Brock preceded him in death on February 22, 1999.
