Roger C Kelly

Roger Kelly, 69, of Adel, passed away January 27, 2021. He was born on January 24, 1952, to Harland and Josephine Kelly. He married Coann Chadwick on May 15, 1976 in Des Moines, Iowa. Roger worked at Fullers for many years and recently worked at Athene doing IT security. He had a wide variety of interests. Roger enjoyed building models, award winning photography, and astronomy. He loved to watch Creature Feature Sci-Fi movies. He loved to challenge anyone in a game of cribbage or trivial pursuit and he would always win. He also loved spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Coann (Chadwick) Kelly; 3 children: son, K.C. Kelly, daughters, Michele Bolton, Missy (Tom) Grabill; grandchildren, Kirsten Palmer, Lisa (Wade) Downing, Natasha (Chris) Hergert; great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Giulia Palmer, Bryer and Gwenivere Downing, Audrey, Zoey, Oliver and Stella Herget; sister, Phyllis (Jerry) Johnson and cousin, Kenneth Bell. Preceded in death by father Harland, mother Josephine, brother Jim and sister Pam. No funeral or services are planned at this time. Roger was an organ donor and through this gift, is able to help up to 160 people through the Iowa Donor Network.
