Susan Juanita Lehnhoff

Susan Juanita Lehnhoff, daughter of Truman Loran Fetty and Katherine Barbara Johnson Fetty, was born October 31, 1952 in Leon, Iowa. She went to Adel High School where she graduated in 1970. Susan was united in marriage to Burl Corrigan Jr. and the couple was blessed with three children, Katherine, Kerry, and Kris. The family moved to Perry where Susan lived most of her life. She later married Lawrence Melvin Lehnhoff in 1984. His three children Chad, Jeremy, and Kiley became part of their loving family. A year later the couple welcomed a baby boy Kurtis. Susan worked at the Woodward Resource Center for 29 years before retiring. She enjoyed camping, fishing, making tie blankets for her grandchildren, and pulling pranks on her family and friends. Susan was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church in Perry. She died February 26, 2023 at her home in Perry. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence Lehnhoff, daughter Kathy Macias, grandson Antonio Ramirez, and brother Jim Fetty. She is survived by her children: Kerry Corrigan of Perry, Chad Lehnhoff of Cedar Rapids, Jeremy Lehnhoff of Texarcana, Texas, Kris Corrigan (fianc Megan) of Perry, Kiley Davis (John) of Grand Junction, and Kurt Lehnhoff (fianc Joshua Reed) of Perry; grandchildren: Kamie Coles, Kayla Silva, Anna Saenz, Trever Clark, Dylan Davis, Ronald Menendez, Gavin Macias, Samantha Gathercoal, Jordan Davis, Thomas Corrigan, Joseph Lehnhoff, Kaylie Lehnhoff, Elizabeth Corrigan, Adan Ramirez, Marisa Lehnhoff, Darian Davis, Rebeca Cacheo, Taylor Marler, Chloe Lehnhoff, Payton Davis, Tucker Marler, Jayce Williams, and David; great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Nazik, Quinn, Jakota, Nazirah, Kamilah, Lucca, Andres, and Leilani; brother Bill Fetty (Theresa) of West Des Moines, sister Sarah Love (Gary) of Redfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. The family requests that you wear something blue or pink in honor of Susan's memory. Visitation was held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 - 8:00 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Funeral Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 also at the funeral home.
