Adrian J. Nail was born December 8, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa to Donald and Mary (Sapper) Nail. After graduating from North High School in 1966, Adrian went into the Marines and served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. Adrian worked for the VA Hospital in Des Moines and retired in 2012. Adrian enjoyed going to movies with Suzanne, going out to eat and getting together with friends. Adrian passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of 68. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 26 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory. Adrian is survived by his wife, Suzanne Turner Nail and her children, Rodney, Tammara, Troy and Jeffrey; son Brian Nail and granddaughter Maddie of Sioux City. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Ambrose Cathedral.
