Alberta Pauline Coil

A Gathering Celebration for Alberta P Coil was held 12:00 p.m. noon Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Walton Wood's in Jefferson. Interment took place 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Jefferson Cemetery. Alberta Pauline Coil, daughter of Marion Leonard Coil and Mildred Leota Bedford Coil, was born November 17, 1945 in Jefferson, Iowa and died March 16, 2015 in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 69. Alberta lived in Jefferson her whole life. When she was younger she walked beans and detassled. She worked at IBP on the converting floor for 10 years. Alberta enjoyed reading, playing cards and bingo. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Russell and Marion Albert (Mary Ann); sisters Betty Hubberman (Clarence), Melba Coil and Marcella Iorga (Nick). Alberta is survived by her daughter Deannda Lopez of Jefferson; son Danny Lopez (Amber) of Yale; four grandchildren: Andrew, Zander, Elizabeth and Justin; one great-granddaughter Aleha; brothers Harry (Marietta) and Bob (Marilyn) both of Jefferson; sister-in-law Annie Coil of Jefferson; son-in-law Jesus Lopez; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
