Alexander Konz

Alexander Konz, 28, passed away on February 4, 2022. He was born on January 21, 1994 to Jim Konz and Meredith Levinstein in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Roosevelt High School. Alex always said he wanted to “live life on his terms.” He lived an adventurous life. He traveled with friends, but also met new ones. Alex was known for his smile. He loved reading, animals, and Sci-Fi movies. He was also an excellent musician, playing the guitar throughout his travels. He is survived by his mother Meredith (Wade) Levinstein; father Jim (Kelly) Konz; brothers Jack Konz and Salem Levinstein; and grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory, 8201 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Youth & Shelter Services or the Food Bank of Iowa in loving memory of Alex.
