Visitation: 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare, where the family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2010 at the funeral home. Andrew S. Boothe was born April 24, 1970, in Des Moines, Iowa. The son of George and Shirley (Lane) Boothe, he lived for a short time in Indianola before his family moved to Des Moines. There he attended school and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1988. Following school, he married Amy Joy Glenn, his wife of over 15 years. Together they made their home in Norwalk and later West Des Moines before moving to Winterset in 2006. Andrew worked as a HVAC Salesman for several businesses including Feld-Hazer, R.S. Stover in Marshalltown, and most recently Capital R&D in West Des Moines. He attended New Covenant Church of God, which his father is founder and pastor. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan, trying hard to never miss a game. He and Amy also were long-time Sammy Hagar music fans and traveled to many concerts together. Andrew died Saturday, September 25th at his home. He was 40 years old. He is survived by his wife, Amy Joy Boothe of Winterset; his parents, George and Shirley Boothe also of Winterset; two brothers, Mark (Crystal) and Wes (Gail); three sisters, Darci (Bob) Kitchen, Amy Bianchi, and Tina (Brad) Enslow; a very special and close niece, Ashley Bianchi, and many other much loved nieces and nephews.He is also survived by his Father and Mother in-law, Dick and Joan Glenn, 5 brothers and sisters in-law and their children.
