Anne K. Bisignano

Anne Katherine Bisignano, 94, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2017 at the Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, IA. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 5 at Our Lady of Peace Chapel, Bishop Drumm Care Center in Johnston. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the Mass at Glendale Cemetery. Anne was born October 9, 1922 in Des Moines to Vincenzo (Jim) and Raffaela (Altomari) Bisignano. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Des Moines. Anne lived all of her life in Des Moines working in the insurance industry. She loved to cook, crochet, go out to eat and spend time with family and friends. Anne is survived by her nieces, Rose Anne “Rosi” Gowdey of Burlington, VT, Denise Gowdey of Boone, IA, Connie Owings of Eldridge, IA and Marla Gowdey of Urbandale, IA; nephews, Bob Gowdey of Des Moines, IA, Dennis Stephens of Overland Park, KS and Ron Stephens of Yorba Linda, CA and dear friend, Frances Rockey of Johnston, IA. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Bisignano, Mary Stephens, Rose Gowdey and Frank (Buzz) Bisignano. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry Lutheran Home or Saint Theresa Catholic Church.
