Anthony Rowe was born on September, 4, 1986 in Chicago, Illinois to Katrina Bettis and Kenneth Tate of California. Growing up he attended ETHS High School in Evanston, Illinois. He worked many jobs, with the most recent being in construction. He was a long time resident of Iowa. In his free time, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends and being social. He liked to watch and talk about sports. He enjoyed spending time with his step father Pryce, betting on and watching sports. He loved his momma’s cooking growing up. Anthony was grateful to have the family he had and loved his kids. He was a loving and loyal friend to all his friends. He was always stress free, but said he could always do and be better. He was a loving and caring father to his kids and loved being their dad. Anthony is survived by his mother, Katrina (Pryce) Bettis; father, Kenneth Tate from California; grandmother, Priscilla Lynch-Rowe; special friend, Donisha Bailey; his 7 children; brothers, Roy “Quinten” Rowe and Jakari Rowe; sister, Princess Bettis; step-brother, Deshaun “Buck” Durdin; step-sister, Veronica, Debora, and Sylvia; great auntie, Janice Miller; aunties, Sherita Rowe, Carla Rowe, Lydia Rowe, Nadina Rowe, Jurnee’ Thompson; special auntie, Helen Prince; special auntie in law, Keisha Rowe, and Kim Rowe; special uncle, Curtis Shepherd, Darius Rowe; god auntie, Kay “Kirsten” Hickman; favorite niece, Quanaya; favorite cousins, Autumn “Neicey”, Tamara and Lil Wayne; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Royal; Uncles, Daniel “Jimmy” Rowe, Willie Williams, Kenneth Rowe; and special cousin, Jamel.
