Arlene E. Zwolski

Arlene Zwolski, 78 of Adel, IA passed away on Sunday November 17, 2019 at Adel Acres in Adel, IA. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am Saturday December 14, 2019 at Caldwell Parrish - McCalley Chapel, in Adel. Inurnment will follow the service at the Oakdale Cemetery in Adel. Arlene was born July 20, 1941 in Wheaton, IL to Alfred and Gladys (Gangestad) Chisamore. On June 23, 1978 Arlene married Richard Zwolski. Arlene was the proud mother of 5 children when she moved to Adel and she continued to raise her family. Along with being a caring mother, Arlene worked as a secretary in her professional career. She was a member of the Adel United Methodist Church, which she enjoyed going to when she could. Arlene enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her friends and family. Those left to cherish her life are her daughters, Susan Smith of Poteau, OK, Lori (David) Dagley of Bella Vista, AR, Nancy (Joe) Risner of West Chicago, IL, Joanne (Kevin) Callahan of Batavia, IL, Tabitha (Tim) Johnston of Waukee, IA; 17 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; siblings Joyce Muldoon, Russell Muldoon and Audrey Portwood, two grandchildren Elizabeth Morgan and Alexandria Nicole Callahan as well as her parents, Alfred and Gladys.
