Online condolences can be left at ochiltree.com. Autumn Renee Vetter, daughter of Aaron and Melinda (Rundell) Vetter, was born November 13, 2004, in Clearwater Beach, Florida. She was an 8th grader at the Winterset Junior High School. Autumn had a great sense of humor, albeit quirky and dry. She was an amazing artist who spent many hours sketching and painting. She loved her horses, ‘Daddy Who’ and ‘Pico’ and was dedicated to caring for them and found great joy in riding them in the pasture. Autumn was also very intrigued by sharks and enjoyed K-pop, not necessarily in that order. She also played the violin, loved to cook and bake. All this said, Autumn was cherished by those who loved her and was to her parents their best friend. She was also a caretaker, always looking out for others, especially her brother, Jaden. Simply said by her mom, “She was our everything!” Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Mindy and Aaron Vetter, brother, Jaden Vetter all of Winterset; grandparents, Ruth (Wallace) Babcock of Bucksport, ME; John (Carol) Vetter of Boone; Mark (Lisa) Lockhart of Biloxi, MS; Ron (Mary) Rundell of West Branch; aunt, Elizabeth (Ashley) Culp of Ames, uncles, Jeremy Boekelman of Ames; Clifford Zawacki of Kodiak, AK; extended family in Iowa City; Lynn, MA; Florida and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Roney.
