Barbara Hanna

Barbara Hanna, 63, of Colfax passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Barbara was born on April 13, 1952 in Newton, Iowa to Vern and Mary Ruth Hanna. She was a 1970 graduate of Colfax High School. Barbara worked at Maytag for 35 years. She had most recently worked at Colfax Mingo High School as a Teacher Assistant. She is survived by her brothers; Michael Hanna of Colfax, Pat Hanna of Louisiana, 3 nieces; Ashley Lafferty and her dad, Jamie of Colfax, Elizabeth Jones of Newton, and Samantha Smith of Colfax, nephew; Jason Hanna of Newton.
