At Grace Chapel in El Paso, she taught Sunday School, started the Women’s Bible Study and played Piano. She also helped monthly at the Baptist Mission in El Paso. She was active in Child Evangelism Fellowship and used the “Wordless Book” to explain the gospel to children: (Black) My heart was black with sin, Until the Savior came in. (Red) His precious blood, I know, (White) Has washed it white as snow (Gold) And in His Word I’m told, I’ll walk the streets of gold. Oh wonderful, wonderful day He washed my sins away.
