Betty Lou Stevens, 86, of Perry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at her home in Perry. Services will be held in Betty's hometown of Corning, Arkansas with the help of the Ermert Funeral Home located at 1000 W Elm St, Corning, AR 72422. Born on September 30, 1938, in Corning, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Johnnie and Hettie (Boshears) Brewer. On April 9, 1960, Betty married Perry Stevens, and from this union, they were blessed with two children: Michael and Rebecca.
Betty enjoyed crocheting, coloring, and babysitting. Betty's greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, cherishing every moment with her grandchildren and ensuring they felt deeply loved and cared for.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Hettie Brewer; infant daughter Rebecca Jean Stevens; brother John Ray Brewer; and sisters Lola Hollifield, Bonnie Hawkins, and baby sister Rebecca Ann Brewer.
She is survived by her loving husband Perry Stevens of Perry; son Michael (Jonie) Stevens of Woodward; grandchildren Alexander Stevens, Alannah Stevens, and Samuel Fagan; brother Jackie Brewer of Corning, Arkansas; sisters Hula Higgens of Corning, Arkansas, Barbara Rush of Paragould, Arkansas, and Gwen Brooks of Florida; as well as other relatives and friends.
