Brandon Toepfer, 28, passed away on March 12, 2022. He was born on September 9, 1993 to Jeannette in Tacoma, Washington and adopted by Gary Toepfer. Brandon graduated High School in 2011 then went to work in construction. He was working as an installer for Renewal by Anderson. Those who knew Brandon knew him for his infectious smile that filled every room he walked into. He always knew how to make everyone laugh with his jokes, even if they weren’t “funny.” His loyalty was unmatched. He was a dedicated son, brother, and uncle. Brandon loved kayaking, motor cross, playing video games, being the master of crypto currency and spending time with family and friends. He loved singing 2000s classics on full blast with his sister. He also knew all the latest movies and tv shows to watch.. When he wasn’t working he loved spoiling his mother and sister to random lunch dates around the Des Moines area. He will be missed by his mom Jeannette and bonus dad Doug Fricke; sisters and brothers Casaliena Toepfer, Haley Toepfer, Sebrina (Benjiman) Searl, Brandon Fricke, Claire Fricke, and Nate Fricke; grandparents Dorothy (Jim) Carver, Clayton (Marion) Waldron, David Fridley, Janet (Lon) Mosman and Esther Toepfer; nieces and nephews Joseph Vargas, Aubree Searl, Bennett Searl; aunts and uncles Kim (Robert) Mcnees, Christine (Jarod) Gruber, Brianna Waldron, Alegra (Nate) Pride, Craig (Beth) Fricke and Darla (Steve) Benson. He is preceded in death by his father Gary Toepfer and grandpa Kenny Toepfer. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Urbandale. The family will be directing any memorial contributions to a nonprofit addiction facility to help others.
