Bruce Anthony Klein

B Bruce Klein, age 70 of Perry, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Perry. Visitation will be on Monday, January 24, 2022, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. with family present from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a held at Rosary at 6:15 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorials will be given to family for later designation and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Online condolences may be left at www.carrisfuneralhome.com. Bruce Anthony Klein was born on March 9, 1951, at Perry, IA to Dave and Zelma Ramona (Kimrey) Klein. He attended the St. Patrick's Catholic School and graduated from Perry High School then graduated from Upper Iowa University Campus in Des Moines, IA. He was united in marriage to Vicki Lynn Burton at the Dallas County Court House on April 14, 1975. He worked at Lord's Clothing, Perry, IA, Northwest Buyers and Clothiers, Minneapolis, MN, and retired from Key Industries, Kansas. After retirement he was a substitute teacher. He was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Perry Elk's Club He enjoyed playing golf, making stained glass windows and lamps, and gourmet cooking. In death he rejoins his parents Dave and Zelma Klein and a sister Rita "Joanne" Jurisch. Left to cherish Bruces memory are his wife Vicki, Perry, IA, and a sister Janice Mahoney, Castle, WY.
