Services for Caine Ronaldinho David Argueta were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Perry. Visitation was from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 and again from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Rev. Father Luis Mejia of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and Rev. Andrea Brownlee of the First Christian Church provided words of comfort. Jan Pattee was the musician. Interment took place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Perry. Following the service at the cemetery was a luncheon at the First Christian Church with friends of St. Patrick Church, Regina Guild and CWF of First Christian Church hosting. Caine Ronaldinho David Argueta, precious son of Kiara Taylor and Jeffrey Argueta, was born September 22, 2018 in Des Moines and died unexpectedly Friday morning, February 7, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of 1 Year, 4 Months and 15 Days young. Caine was a good eater and loved to drink water. He had fun playing with his brother and dancing. He liked the movie Coco, but most of all Caine loved his family especially his grandparents. Caine will be in his family's hearts forever. He is survived by his mom Kiara Taylor; his dad Jeffrey Argueta; his brother Elijah all of Des Moines; his paternal grandparents Lorena and Carlos Argueta of Perry; maternal grandparents Carissa and Matthew Yanders of Perry; grandfather Emmanuel Taylor of South Bend, IN; uncles Hezekiah Taylor of South Bend and Edward Argueta (Ashlee Marie); aunts Brie'anna Taylor, Amarie Taylor and Yeynisy Argueta all of Perry; great-grandparents Debrah Katosa (David) of Mishawaka, IN and Brilla Harrison of South Bend, IN; great-great-grandparents Arlene Hunt of Mishawaka, IN; Bergelina Mejia of Guatemala and Jose Evlio Arguetta of El Salvador; numerous cousins and other relatives.
