Carlene Shoafstall (77) passed away on Apr 21, 2025, at Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa. Carlene Shoafstall was born to Don and Bonnie Christenson on December 28, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the area, graduating from Johnston High School with the class of 1966. She loved her family, music and crafting.

Carlene is preceded in death by her son, Trace Herman; parents, Don and Bonnie Christenson; brother, Ronnie Christenson.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Earl Shoafstall; children, Angie (Travis) Daniels and Mike (Peggy) Shoafstall; siblings, Danny Christenson, Diane (Doc) Bunton, Cherilyn “Tootie” Cunningham, Diane “Two” Christenson; grandchildren, Gracie & Libby Daniels, Sierra & Dakota Rossi as well as a niece and many nephews.
