Carmen Sue Hansen passed away from complications of COVID-19 on Monday, August 31, 2020. She was 64. Carmen was born on Easter Sunday, April 1, 1956 in Marshalltown, Iowa. She lived in Carlisle from 1976 to November 2019, then moved to West Des Moines. She worked for Diamond Lab for over 30 years, then the last few years at Equifax. Carmen is survived by brothers, Roger D. Hansen (Marilyn), Keith D. Hansen (Melody), and Randy D. Hansen; sisters, Janet K. Grauvogel (Dean) and Janine Hansen; and multi beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Eilts Hansen Juhler; father, Harry F. Hansen; stepfather, Harold A. Juhler and stepmother, Charlotte Hansen; brothers, Robert D. Hansen (sister-in-law, Joan Hansen), Jeffrey Hansen; and sister, Kathy Hansen.
