Carol Carson, 70 of Redfield, passed away Wednesday, 3/18/2020 at Lakeside Village in Panora. Carol was born on September 2, 1949 in Redfield to Thomas Foster and Paulena Marie (Hornback) Joiner. She loved to bake, crochet, loved making blankets, an avid bingo player, active in card groups with her friends, was a big part of the senior community at Lakeside Village, and loved spending time with her many friends in Redfield and at Lakeside. She was a member of the Redfield Christian Church. Carol is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Carson; her children, Linda (Larry) Alexander, Tom (Missy) Grabill, Laura (Leonard) Belew, DeWayne (Endisa) Carson, and Cora (Don) Pruitt; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great grandchildren on the way; one great-great granddaughter; three sisters, Kay Bunkers, Jackie Graika,and Ruth Ann Bland; and two brothers, Donnie Joiner and Benny Madison. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Sue Carson; her son, Jerry Dean Grabill; her great-granddaughter, Abigail; her parents, Foster and Marie Joiner; and three sisters, Sylvia Sanders, Verna Bloomfield, and Georgia Burnham. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, all visitations and services will be limited to immediate family only. Thank you for your understanding. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
