Carolyn L. Muzney

Carolyn L. Muzney was born on April 4, 1943 to Floyd Knight and Edna Frances Evalena Samuelson Knight, and died December 17, 2007 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 13 days. Carolyn was born in Boone, where she attended school there. By age 3 Carolyn was singing. She married DOn Muzney on December 2, 1963 and they made their home in Jefferson. Carolyn put her music ability to work by playing the drums and singing in a band. Carolyn was lucky enough to apear at teh Grand Ole Opry in 1994. Besides music Carolyn enjoyed playing bingo, going to garage sales, ariding motorcycles, country music and her family. She was a past president, and a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Don Robbin; sisters, Lucille, Shirley(Larry), and Delores Davis. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Don; sons, Hank Muzney, Sr. (Julie), and Travis (Nicolle); grandchildren, Emily and Brady Muzney, Miranda Muzney, Christina Muzney and Hank Muzney, Jr.; great-grandchild, Deacon Mitchels; brothers, Don Knight (Donna), Bob Knight (Nelly), and Roland "Sonny" Knight(Dorothy); sister, Janet Ott(Don); other relatives and friends.
