Channing Duane Robinson

Channing Duane Robinson, son of Duane Wilbur Robinson and Verva Mae Kempf Robinson was born March 13, 1940 in Des Moines, IA and passed away May 24, 2009 at Bright Kavanagh Hospice in Des Moines, IA. He was 69 years old. Channing graduated from Dawson High School in 1958 and immediately began farming with his father. He was always tweaking his machinery and never met a piece of iron he couldn't weld onto something and paint green. On April 19, 1964, he married Helen Louise Skinner in Newton, Iowa. They were blessed with one son, Aaron Leslie. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Leslie Sheldon Robinson. Channing is survived by his wife Helen of Yale, IA, son Aaron and wife Katie and their children, Amelia and Channing, of Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by his sister Susan Oliver and husband Doug of Colleyville, TX, their children and grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
