Charles (Charlie) Allen Beeler

Charles (Charlie) Allen Beeler, passed away June 24, 2015, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He was 66 years old. Charlie was born on June 6, 1949, to Charles W. and Patricia (Caldwell) Beeler. He graduated from Dowling High School in 1967. He worked as a master plumber with his parents at Beeler City-Wide Plumbing in Des Moines until their retirement in 1982, when Charlie and his brother Mike carried on the family business. The brothers later formed A&B Plumbing, where Charlie continued to work until he retired in 2012. In 1968, Charlie married Theresa Flanery. To this marriage, Tina and Melissa were born. In 1982, he married Becky Wyatt and they had two sons, Charles and Richard. Charlie is survived by his significant other, Patti Tyler; children Tina, Missy (Joe), Charles, and Richard, grandchildren Jon, Cody and Haley, great granddaughter Sophia, sisters Cecelia Jacobs, Mary (John) Flynn, Diane (Gary) Berry, brothers Roy and Mike (Francine), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a stillborn sister and two infant brothers, Patrick and Gerard. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association in Charlies name.
