Charles Claude Iverson, Jr., son of Charles Claude Iverson, Sr. and Bernice Margaret Hughes Iverson, was born August 22, 1945 in Jefferson, Iowa and died June 15, 2006 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa at the age of 60 years, 9 month and 23 days. Charles was a lifelong resident of Jefferson. Charles was employed by Don Ott as a mechanic, and he also mowed lawns and scooped snow for many residents in Jefferson. Charles was a member of the Greene County Historical Society. He loved antique cars and regularly attending the Ft. Dodge area flea markets. Charles could be found at Casey's everyday for his morning coffee. He made a trip to Ralston every Friday for lunch at the Country Corner with his good friends. He also loved his two pet rabbits. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his aunt: Beatrice "Beedie" Reedholm and his uncle Delmar Kempf. Survivors include his uncle Roland Hughes of California; cousins: Berenice "Bunny" Russell and Wilmer Reedholm, Jr., both of New York; other relatives and friends.
