Charles "Larry" Day, age 89 of Perry, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Rowley Masonic Community in Perry, IA. A private graveside service will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Memorials will be given to Larry's family and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Charles "Larry" Lawrence Day was born on September 26, 1930 at Grimes, IA to Charles Ernest and Bess Alice (Bowers) Day. He attended the University of Iowa studying Photojournalism. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Larry was a photographer for Massey Ferguson for 30 plus years. In death he rejoins his parents and a brother Dennis Day. Left to cherish Larry's memory are his children, Michael Day of Adel, IA; Adam Day of Beaver Dam, KY and Lynne Day of Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren, Nicholas Day of Tucson, AZ. brother, Steven Day of Yale, IA.
