Charlotte Fern Lambert Peterson

Charlotte Fern Lambert Peterson was born September 19, 1939 in Yale, Iowa to Raymond Lambert and June Campbell Lambert and died June 21, 2008 at the Perry Health Care Center in Perry at the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 2 days. Charlotte attended school in Perry. She continued her education at Malcom College where she became an ordained minister. She was a dietician at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago but most recently was the Cafeteria Manager at IBP until she retired in April of 2006. Charlotte enjoyed reading the bible, listening to music and her dog "Sammy". She also enjoyed her travels to Oklahoma with her mother. Charlotte spent a lot of time caring for her mother, but took the time to enjoy her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Helen Conklin, and nephew Doug Conklin. Charlotte is survived by her brothers, Paul Lambert and wife Edie of Moody, TX; Jerry Lambert and wife Trudy of Perry, IA; Barry Lambert and wife Kathy of Woodward, IA and Harry Trevarthen of Madrid; sisters, Nancy Collins and husband Jim of Perry, IA; and Tanna Corrigan and husband Tom, of Dawson, IA; aunts, Judy Boat and husband Dale of Des Moines, IA; Jean Stanley and husband Francis of Des Moines, IA; and Shirley Lambert of Kent, WA; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
