Charlotte Meyers

Charlotte was born May 6, 1924 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Frank and Lillian (Piecheck) Meyer. Charlotte was never married. She made Winterset her home since 1986 having moved here form Milwaukee. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Winterset. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting and taking care of her birds, Amy and Susie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, James Clancy. Charlotte died, Monday, October 7, 2008 at Westbridge Care Center. She was 84. Charolotte is survived by her two sisters, Irene Clancy of Lorimor; Barbara Edwards of Florida and by a niece, Kathleen Crowley of Kenosha, WI and a nephew, Kelly Clancy of Lorimor. Visitation: Burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI. Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Winterset. Memorial: Memorials may be directed to Middle River Hospice.
