She graduated from Madrid High School and attended Boone Jr. College where she graduated with an Associate’s degree. She loved visiting the historical sites and eating all of the wonderful seafood, especially crab cakes. Later, she and Steve returned to Iowa to be closer to the family. Cheryl had a lifelong love of the beach and was an avid reader. She loved decorating her home, especially at Christmas. She was a gourmet cook and was the designated tortellini broth maker.
