Chester "Doug" Pullen

Chester (Doug) Pullen, 90 years old, or Urbandale and a former LeMars resident died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 surrounded by his family. Chester married Donna Blane on November 2, 1949 and they lived most of their lives in LeMars. Chester is survived by his daughters, Becky Dykstra, Beth Lewis, and Nancy Pullen; two brothers, Ted and Keith Pullen; one sister-in-law, Swanna Blane; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Chester was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Edwards; two sister-in-laws, Dorothy Ashmore and Mary Carnine; four brother-in-laws, Vernon Blane, Norman Ashmore, Bill Carnine, and Jerry Edwards; two son-in-laws, Richard Dykstra and Steve Lewis; three nephews, Lonny Pullen, Brad Blane, and Josh Ashmore; and two nieces, Vicki and Chris.
