Coleen Milligan

Coleen Kay Milligan, 75, of West Des Moines, IA passed away on March 20, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Friday March 24 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Urbandale, IA. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 25 at St. Francis Catholic Church in West Des Moines, IA. A luncheon will follow the mass at The Greenbriar restaurant in Johnston, IA.

Coleen was born June 21, 1947 in Mason City, Iowa to Albert Clinton and Agnes Mae Conrey. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965. She proudly obtained her Associate Degree in Applied Science from DMACC in 1995.

Coleen loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed the outdoors and travel. She loved hiking in Colorado with her son and traveling across the world with her daughter. She also enjoyed many travels with her high school friends. Coleen was a die-hard Iowa Hawkeye fan and never missed a football or basketball game.

Coleen is survived by her two children Jaci (Harvey) Andrekovic of Lakewood, OH and Jason Milligan of Des Moines, IA; brother Tom (Loretta) Conrey and many dear nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Eileen and brother Tim.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital
