Craig Eudean Street was born August 24, 1942 in Corydon, Iowa to Raedean and Banetah Street. He was a WWII baby and didnt meet his father until he was three years old after his father was badly wounded and sent home from the war as it ended in 1945. Craig was in the Army from 1964 to 1966 and served in the Vietnam War. He spent a year in Thailand in the Combat Engineers and was honorably discharged in 1966. Craig was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He loved cars and worked as a mechanic. He also bought, repaired and sold old cars in his younger years. Craig also loved motorcycles. He enjoyed trail riding and racing hill climb motorcycles. He was both amateur and semi pro hill climb racer. After his racing years ended in 2006, he became an avid fisherman. Craig married Cindy Trujillo in 1980 and they had two children, Jason and Jill. Craig passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at home surrounded by his family at the age of 73. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon, Thursday, October 22 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment will immediately follow at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Craig is survived by his wife, Cindy; son, Jason (Lacey Enga) Street; daughter, Jill (Jeremy) Seley; grandson Corben Seley; brothers, David Street and Kevin Street and sister, Linda Norris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raedean and Banetah Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family in his name.
