Crystal Holtmyer, 51, of Winterset, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at West Bridge Care Center & Rehab in Winterset. There are no services planned at this time. Online condolences may be left for the family at ochiltree.com. Crystal Sue Holtmyer, daughter of Leo and Rosalie (Waddell) Forsyth, was born February 22, 1965 in Madison County, Iowa. She graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1983. During her working years she held various clerical positions in the healthcare industry. Crystal was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Winterset. She was a vibrant person who was a kid at heart. She liked to shop and socialize with her friends and family. Her children were very special to her and cherished times when she was with them. Above all else, she was a loving mother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. Crystal is survived by her children, Tiarra Holtmyer of Phoenix, AZ; Tallyn Holtmyer of West Des Moines; significant other, John Young of Winterset; brothers, Harold (Julie) Forsyth of Winterset; Kevin Forsyth of Des Moines; Jeff (Lacey) Forsyth of Winterset; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
