Dallas Terry Bradford

Dallas Terry Bradford, of De Soto, passed away Monday, June 4 at Kavanagh House in Des Moines. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 8 from 5-8 pm with a prayer service starting at 7:30 pm at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel in Adel. Private family burial will be at a later date at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. Dallas was born in Pleasantville to Avery and Shirley (Weaver) Terry. He attended and graduated Knoxville High School and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Drake University in Des Moines. On August 2, 1964, Dallas married Janette Starckovich in Melcher-Dallas. Dallas enjoyed classic cars, all of his dogs, and being surrounded by his family and friends. Dallas is survived by his daughter, Raynette Bradford (Patrick Fortelka and his son Kirk) of Shorewood, IL; partner, Joan Hatfield and her family of De Soto; brother, Scott Terry of Huntington Beach, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, step-father, Andy Bradford and two brothers, Richard and Avery. Memorial contributions may be directed to AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport.
