Dallon Blaise Morris

Dallon Morris, 13, of Winterset, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 17, at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset, with family present to receive friends during this time. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset, with burial to follow in the North McDonald Cemetery, Jefferson Township, Madison County. Memorials in Dallon’s name may be left for family for a later designation and online condolences can be left at ochiltree.com. Dallon Blaise Morris, son of Dustin Morris and Brandi Jackson, was born September 16, 2003, in Winterset, Iowa. He was a 7th grader at Winterset Junior High. Dallon was affiliated with the Miracle League ball team, The Brewers and was a member of the South West Junior Stockman 4-H Club. He enjoyed riding horses, owned miniature donkeys and loved watching Blue’s Clues. Dallon is survived by his mother, Brandi Morris of Winterset, father, Dustin Morris of New Virginia; brother, Dayton Morris and twin sister, Denim Morris; grandparents, Monty Morris of New Virginia, Rhonda and Dennis Shoafstall of West Des Moines, Kevin Jackson of Macksburg; great-grandparents, Jim and Myrna Moore, Jackie and Forrest McCuen both of Winterset; aunts, uncles, extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sheryll Morris and grandfather, Reggie Miner.
