Daniel Ross Coleman Sr.

Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements for Daniel Ross Coleman, 76, of Grand Junction. Daniel died September 5, 2022 at Aspire of Gowrie. Visitation will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson. Daniel Ross Coleman Sr., son of Ross Otis Coleman and Betty Jane Davis Coleman, was born August 18, 1946 in Perry, Iowa. Danny grew up in Grand Junction where he attended school. He served in the United States Army. Danny was a man of many trades. He could fix about anything. Danny enjoyed being a mechanic and to tinker around the garage. He died September 5, 2022 at Aspire of Gowrie in Gowrie, Iowa. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Ross and Betty Coleman, brother Dale Coleman, sister Nancy Sloan, and niece. Daniel is survived by his son Danny Coleman of Gowrie, daughter Kim Laws of Perry, grandchildren Amber Laws of Des Moines, Gage Laws of Ankeny, and Garrett Laws of Perry, and sisters Tricia Coleman of Jefferson and Sandy Pickett (Mick) of Boxholm, other relatives, and many friends.
