Danielle Allsup

Danielle “Dani” Allsup passed away on September 21, 2022 at the age of 53 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her. She was born to Roger and Judy Burken on July 14, 1969. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1986 in Des Moines where she remained a lifelong resident.

Dani loved camping, boating, and taking trips with her family. Her all-time favorite place was Mexico, where they vacationed every year. Her pleasant but spunky personality was contagious to everyone she met. She took great pride in becoming an advocate for women at Planned Parenthood for 10 years. She also loved all of her pets, which she had many over the years. She loved all kinds of art and tattoos.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years Tony; children Hunter Tibbetts, Paige Tibbetts and Tristen Allsup; and sisters Dawn, Denise and Delaine. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
