Danny Lynn Dunton - Van Meter

Danny passed away unexpectedly in a car accident, Saturday November 14, 2015. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday November 17 at the Van Meter American Legion Hall where family will greet friends from 3:00 to 6:00 PM following services. Danny was born March 13, 1987 in Des Moines. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, weight lifting and most of all, spending time playing and reading with his daughter Sophia. Danny is survived by his daughter Sophia, parents Jon and Shelley, brother Derik (Angel), grandparents Dwight and Lynne Belding and Melva Dunton, and nephew Emerson. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Gary Dunton. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sophia Dunton Education Fund at Wells Fargo Bank in Van Meter. Sophia requests toys be brought so she can donate them to Toys for Tots in her daddy's name.
