Darlene Mae Lohner

Visitation: Darlene Mae Lohner was born October 29, 1928 in Omaha, Nebraska. Her marriage to John Lohner took place on October 11, 1965. Darlene is survived by her husband, John of Winterset; a daughter, Bonnie Risius of Des Moines; three sons, Tony Lohner and wife, Jennifer of Norwalk, Trey Lohner and wife, Kimberly of Las Vegas, NV, and Phillip Lohner and wife, Karen of West Plains, MO; and eight grandchildren, Madison and Paige Lohner, Rich Morris and Travis Risius, Phillip and Jason Lohner, and Zachary and Garrett Lohner. She was preceded in death by her parents. Darlene was a caregiver. She collected elephants and loved to dance. She was a loving wife of 41 years and great mother to her children. She dearly loved her kids and grandkids and sincerely enjoyed helping and caring for others. Darlene died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Madison County Health Care System in Winterset. She was 78. Service: Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Memorial: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare. Cremation will follow the visitation with burial to take place at a later date. There will be no funeral service.
