Darlene Moore

Darlene May Moore, daughter of William Huffstutler and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy was born July 17, 1936 in Washington, Iowa and died November 26, 2012 in Lone Tree, Iowa. Darlene was 76. She grew up in Boone, then Madrid where she graduated high school. Darlene worked at Anjo's Italian Restaurant in Madrid, as a cook at Woodward Resource Center, and then transferred to cook at Oakdale Evaluation Center. Darlene enjoyed being outdoors planting trees and shrubs, doing yard work, gardening, camping, fishing, and even hunting. She also enjoyed reading. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Elizabeth Huffstutler, daughter-in-law Debbie Moore, and sister Betty Brown. Darlene is survived by her five children: Bill Moore and his wife Madonna of Perry, Larry Moore of Des Moines, Steven Moore and his wife Beth of Booneville, Mary Woodard and her husband Ron of Woodward, David Moore and his wife Tammy of Boone; brother Richard Huffstutler and his wife Rosie of Madrid; twenty grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
