Darwin K. Adams

Darwin was born April 12, 1932 in Clarke County, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Ruby (Chandler) Adams. He attended school in Murray graduating from Murray High School in 1949 and later graduating from Barber College in Des Moines. In 1952 Darwin joined the United States Army being stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged from service in 1954. Darwin is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Lorimor; his four children, Deb Moulin and her husband, Steve of Jacksonville, FL; Dennis Adams and his wife, Linda of Lorimor; Jody Adams of Loveland, CO; Lisa Copeland and her husband, Kyle of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Ryan and Corey Moulin and Franklin and Ashley Haight; a brother, Lorain Adams of Cedar Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roy Adams. Darwin's marriage to Bonnie Marine Bierce took place on November 17, 1957 in Osceola and to this union four children were born. During his working career Darwin worked as a barber for 10 years in Indianola and Lorimor before hiring on at Wellman Dynamics in Creston where he worked as a factory X-Ray Technician and retired in 1994 after 25 years. Darwin loved camping and traveling which he and Bonnie were blessed to travel many places together. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who most of all cherished the time spent with family.
