Daryl Kim Sigler

.Daryl Kim Sigler, son of Neal Ivan Sigler and Verna Marie McKean Sigler, was born July 14, 1958 in Gilroy, California and died at his home in Jefferson, Iowa, December 12, 2018. Daryl was 60 years old. His family moved to Iowa when Daryl was in middle school. In the early 1980's, Daryl's family moved to Jefferson. He completed his high school education through the GED program. Daryl worked for over 35 years at Genesis Development as a forklift operator in their recycling department. He was a dedicated worker and only retired this last August due to health reasons. Daryl was a quiet, independent, very private man who loved his entire family greatly. He rejoiced in their happiness and was supportive in their sadness. He was blessed to have his only surviving brother move in with him two years ago. Daryl was also blessed with many cousins, of whom several lived in Jefferson. He loved to eat and enjoyed his times at the casino. Daryl was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ronnie in infancy and Gary, and sister-in-law Dorothy Jill. He is so very missed by his brother Timothy of Jefferson, nephews and nieces including Jeb Sigler of Nevada; Jeramie Sigler of Norman, Oklahoma; Jacob Sigler (Molly) of Nevada; Abraham Sigler (Casey) of Ankeny; Steve Maley of Des Moines; Sara Maley of Nevada; and Marisa Grimm of Knoxville, Tennessee; great nieces and nephews; aunts Virginia and Dorinda; other relatives and many friends. Everyone is invited to share in fellowship and refreshments at the funeral home and then invited to join Timothy at 704 Mahlon to continue to celebrate Daryl life.
